Delete your transcribe.AI account

You can delete your transcribe.AI account and all data linked to it at any time. You do not need the mobile app: you can do it from the website.

Delete it yourself (immediate)

1. Open transcribe.ai and log in with your account.
2. Open your Profile.
3. Tap Delete account, type DELETE to confirm, and press Delete permanently.

The same option is in the app: Profile → Delete account.

Delete only some of your data

You do not have to delete your account to remove individual items. In the app or on the website:

1. Open the recording, file or link you want to remove from your history.
2. Choose Delete and confirm.

Deleting a recording immediately removes its audio or video file, transcript, translations, summaries, AI chats and any share link. You can also remove a folder, or turn off a share link, at any time. Copies that remain in backups or logs are permanently removed within 30 days.

What is deleted

Your profile, recordings, uploaded files, transcripts, translations, folders, AI chats, shared links and your login are permanently removed. This cannot be undone. Copies that remain in backups or logs are permanently removed within 30 days.

What we keep

Only records we are required to keep by law, such as payment records.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account cancels any plan you bought by card through Stripe. A subscription bought through Google Play is managed by Google and is not cancelled automatically: cancel it in Google Play (Menu → Subscriptions) to avoid further charges.
